The comprehensive planning process requires approximately eighteen months to complete. From March 2020 to October 2021, the MPC worked closely with planning staff, planning committees, City Council, County Commission, and citizens throughout Chatham County to identify issues, share strengths, develop visions and goals, and build strategies for this plan.
